Save Corper Joe from blood Cancer

“… My dear friends, my life is in God’shands, the result of the test is not my business… All I know is that I will be OK My spirit is stronger than any afflictions.” Those were the words of Joseph in his first message to our class WhatsApp group after being hospitalized and test results confirmed he has Leukemia (cancer of the blood) on 15th October 2015 at the NATIONAL HOSPITAL ABUJA.
Scores of our classmates, his colleagues at his PPA and other corps members had to make themselves available for the blood/platelets donations to stabilize him for CHEMOTHERAPY. During our undergraduate studies, Joseph was of immeasurable assistance to many of us; his classmates and friends. He held series of tutorials to put us through challenging courses free of charge and many of us had him to thank for our successful graduation. We would always joke in class and call him the oldest man in the class as he had grey hairs and so much wisdom. But now, we are grieved; how could this have happened to him. We have made our little donations of blood, money and continual prayers to help Joe fight against cancer. Sadly, on 23rd October, 2015, Joseph’s immune system
broke down and the doctors had to suspend all sessions of chemotherapy and start revival of his immune system. The doctors advice that he should be flown abroad for BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT. From our research, this would cost N15million in India/South Africa and N32million in the USA. Unfortunately, his family are unable to raise this huge sum. Please, please please, we solicit your assistance in any way to help Joseph win this battle. If your assistance would require any services from us his classmates, please do not hesitate to contact us (Regina 08136019468). We would want to hear from you and keep Joseph alive at any cost within our
capabilities. Okonkwo Ekene Joseph is a graduate of Electronic Engineering (2014), University of Nigeria Nsukka. He is a serving corps member in Abuja. Below is his account details
