Seven persons including a taxi driver and his passengers died this afternoon after an uncompleted pedestrian bridge at Dorayi quarters in Kano State collapsed on them.
The unfortunate happened about 4.45pm today April 26th, and ccording to reports, construction workers had warned the taxi driver and pedestrians not to pass under the bridge as it was still under construction but they ignored the warning and as soon as the taxi driver drove under the bridge, it caved, crumbling on the taxi killing the driver, its passengers and other pedestrians.The bodies of the victims have been deposited at a hospital mortuary
