39 yearold Kenyan Man Marries 9 year old Girl
KENYA- Parkuyare Ole Mutea, 39 year old has been arrested police for marrying and sexually abusing a 9 year old girl in Kajiado County, kenya.
He was arrested after a kenyan pastor said to be an activist against female genital mutilation informed the police.
It was gathered that the parent Mr and Mrs Kamuyan Ole Tiyan married off their young daughter to the 39 year old man who paid a bride price of one cow estimated to be Sh70,000 (about $690) 2 month ago.
According to reports , the little girl have been taken to the hospital for treatment from the injuries she sustained in her private part.
Kajiado county commissioner Harsama Kello ordered the arrest of the culprits and asked chiefs to help fight FGM and early marriage in the area.
Parkuyare Ole Mutea and the father of the girl have been arrested while the mother is declared wanted
