Spanish Born Actor, Antonio Banderas, 55 will play the role of Gianni versace in an upcoming movie titled 'Versace'
The film is said to be a biopic of the late fashion designer, Gianni the founder of versace design who was murdered in Miami ,1997 at the age of 50.
Though the full story and official title of the movie have not been revealed.
According to WWD, The Italian fashion group said that " it has neither authorized nor had any involvement whatsoever in the forthcoming movie about Versace. The movie should only be seen as a work of fiction."
Italian media reported that the filming will start in December and then move to Reggio Calabria, the place where Versace was born and Miami where he was killed in 1997.
'Versace' will be directed by Bille August.
