The Nigeria Football Federation NFF has appointed Frenchman, Paul Le Guen as the Super Eagles New Coach.
The 52 years old ex- Cameroonian and Oman coach was announced as Nigeria new manager this evening on July 18. The Frenchman takes over from his predecessor Sunday Oliseh who resigned after failing to qualify in the preliminary stage of the 2016 African Nations Championship.
Le Guen coaching team includes Salisu Yusuf as Chief Coach with Imama Amapakabo and Alloy Agu as the assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer respectively.
According to Goal.com, Bitrus Bewerang was also recommended by the technical team to be appointed as the new technical director of the Nigeria's Football. He is said to replace the Late Shuaibu Amodu.
Le Guen's first match will be against Tanzania in the 2017 African cup of Nations qualifier in September.
With high hopes , NFF believes Paul Le Guen and his team will also qualify the country for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia ahead of Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia in Group B.
