Miss Maxim 2016 Winner,Natalya Shuvalova Did Not Eat For 4 days

Natalya Shuvalova,21 year old student from Nizhny Novgorod in Russia is winner of the beauty pageant Miss Maxim 2016.

The 11th annual Miss Maxim competition open to girls from all over the world signed up about 4000 girls which were screened down to 100 and best 10 from which Natalya emerged winner was shortlisted . 

Judges under the leadership of the creator of the famous Russian TV show 'Eralash', Boris Grachevsky were present at the event.

Natalya giving her acceptance speech  said: 'I didn't eat for four days! Now I'll eat a huge Big Mac!'

Maxim editor Alexander Malenkov explained: 'It was really hard to choose only a hundred girls from thousands. And after, we had to choose the 10 best!'

He thinks  starving oneself for a beauty pageant does not speak well.

Alexander Malenkov told the MailOnline: 'Actually I was very surprised and a bit disappointed by this statement. 

'By the conditions of the contest she was obliged to start preparing herself a week before the finals, not four days. As far as concerns healthiness, we consider that being beautiful is always on the first place for a woman.' . He said.
