Koffi Olomide Arrested And Deported After Beating A Woman In His Band

Koffi Olomide Deported From Kenya 

Congolese singer , Koffi Olomide, 60 have been arrested after a picture of him kicking a woman in his band went viral on social media on Friday night in Nairobi, Kenyan.

Kenya Youth and Cabinet Secretary, Sicily Kariuk has called for the deportation of the popular Congolese singer.

The Kenya authorities in statement described Koffi's action as violence against women and girls which will not be tolerated.

"Today Kenyans witnessed with dismay an assault incident at JKIA by renowned artist Koffi Olomide against one of his female dancers . His conduct is an insult to Kenyans and files in the face of our constitution and what we believe in", They said.

It was confirmed from his Kenyan lawyer George Wajakoyah saying, “I can confirm to you that my client Koffi Olomide was expelled this morning and I have just spoken to him,”
