CELE PASTOR ARRESTED FOR MALTREATING A 9YEAR OLD BOY
The pastor of the Key of Joy Celestial Church ,Francis Taiwo has been arrested by the police force in Ogun state.
Francis Taiwo who has been on the run weeks for chaining down a 9 year old boy for weeks was arrested with the help of church members in Ajibawo Atan-Ota town of Ogun State where the church is located.
The 9 year old boy, Korede was rescued after the police force and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp NSCDC break into the church on Friday.
The Police Public Relation Officer of Ogun state, Muyiwa Adejobi confirmed this on Sunday. He said the pastor church members were helpful operation.
He further said that Pastor Francis Taiwo will charged to court as soon as investigation is completely carried out.
The boy's step mum had been arrested earlier for mal nourishing the boy.
Korede will now be handed over to ministry of women affair and social welfare for rehabilitation.
