American award winner Rihanna will perform the 2016 Crop Over Event in Barbados alongside two of Nigerians music star , Wizkid and Runtown.

The Crop Over summer festival has been a regular event since it rebirth in 1974. It is regarded as Barbados' most popular and colorful festival.

The festival marks the celebration of a successful sugar cane harvest in Barbados do It origin is dated back to 18th century when Barbados was the world's largest producer of sugar.

Since then it has been world celebrated festival where thousands of visitors are attracted all across the globe.

This years festival takes place on July 31, 2016 in Barbados.
