Knorr, the great taste maker from Unilever Nigeria plc is back with another exciting season of its cooking show- Knorr Taste Quest.
The show was birthed to reinforce Knorr’s culinary expertise and brings to live the brand’s love for Flavour. It is a platform for people to showcase their culinary skills, as well as bring to the homes of consumers the most exhilarating, and educational cooking show in Nigeria.
Season I & II which showcased the journey of sixteen contestants battling it out in the kitchen for the title of Nigeria’s Best in culinary matters was a huge success. As a result, the brand’s total awareness grew remarkably, reaching over 13 million viewers with the show. We have also gotten numerous comments from our ever growing fans on Facebook on how much they love the show and can’t wait for the third season. Well, the wait is finally over as we have begun the search for the next best cook in Nigeria.
This Season, viewers can expect the unexpected as we are taking culinary expertise to a whole new level. The contestants are in for a ride of a life time as a lot of twist and spanners never seen before have been added to this season. The best part of this season is that viewers at home would be more involved in the show as they would not only get to dictate some aspect of the show but they would also get a chance to be a part of the show and taste what the contestants cook.
According to the Brand Building Director Foods, Unilever Nig. Plc, Mrs. Nsima Ogedi-Alakwe, Season III is no doubt going to be filled with more suspense and drama in the kitchen. The show is opened to consumers who are passionate about cooking and are ready to explore the various creative ways there is to cooking. In this “Master Class” edition, not only would the task be fiercer and more difficult, the bar has been set even higher as this season would take everything the contestants have got. They would need skill, patience, passion, speed, creativity and stamina to stand the heat in the kitchen.

Shortlisted participants would be invited for auditions in Lagos, Calabar, Abuja and Enugu, from which the Top 16 would be chosen to battle it out in the kitchen for the grand prize.
In this season, the winner will be going home with a whooping N5, 000,000 naira cash prize, kitchen equipments and loads of Knorr. Also, prizes of N1, 000,000 and N500, 000 will be given to the first and second runner respectively.
