Will Smith as Deadshot in 'SUICIDE SQUAD' movie

The director of the upcoming Warner Bros supervillains movie shared a solo shot of Will Smith in the red and black costume, complete with a full white headmask with cybernetic eye

Fans have been given more of reason to get excited about Suicide Squad with David Ayer sharing a new photo of Will Smith as Deadshot, in full gear.
The director of the upcoming Warner Bros supervillains movie shared a solo shot of Will Smith in the red and black costume, complete with a full white headmask with cybernetic eye.

Locked and load, his character has one finger poised above the trigger.

Suicide Squad, which is set for release next year, will tell the story of a secret government agency that turns to supervillains to carry out its dangerous black ops missions.

The movie stars Jared Leto as The Joker, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

On Sunday, director Ayer shared an amazing picture of the cast in full costume – but unfortunately Jared Leto was missing from the action.

British beauty Cara looks far from the Chanel runway days as gone is her blonde hair and it’s place is long black locks, falling across her face - making her look a bit like the kid from The Ring.

The 22-year-old seems to have embraced her role as a sorceress and gazes moodily at the camera while surrounded by the rest of her cast.

The incredible snap was shared by the films writer and directed David Ayer on Twitter, with the caption: “Task Force X assembled and ready. #SuicideSquad.”

The picture is also the first time we have seen Margot Robbie in character as Harley Quinn.

She is the only member of the group grinning in the menacing shot.

The crew, which includes Scott Eastwood and Jared Leto, is currently shooting in Canada.

It’s thought Ben Affleck's Batman will also appear in the movie.

The Latino Review blog has claimed Batman will feature as "some sort of big boogeyman" in the Warner Bros film.

Unfortunately further details of the film are being kept under wraps and star Will Smith has suggested he'd be forced to "kill" anyone who learnt of its plot.

Asked whether he could speak about 'Suicide Squad', Will said: "No sir, I'd have to kill you. It's top secret but it's really good, though. It's great stuff, fantastic. I'm already in shape for it, I'm already training."
