Tony Bennett plans to feature lady gaga and beyonce in new album
Legendary musical icon ,Anthony Dominick Benedetto famously known by stage name 'Tony Bennett 'celebrated his 90th birthday today with wife, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Lady Gaga and others.
ABC reported that the duo appeared together for an honorary lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building recognizing Bennett’s musical legacy.
Bennett, his wife Susan, Lady Gaga and a host of other big-name celebrities are expected to continue the celebration with a party later this evening at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, as reported by ABC.
The 90 year old legend has plans on releasing an album which will feature Lady Gaga and Beyonce.
According to billboard, Bennett is set to published a new memoir titled, 'Just Getting Started' which was co-written by Scott Simon NPRWeekend Edition host .
The book focuses on Bennett's encounters and relationships with other artists and notable figures throughout the years, ranging from Frank Sinatra, Charlie Chaplin, Judy Garland and Bob Hope (who, Bennett says gave him "my first break") to Martin Luther King Jr., as well as Gaga and Amy Winehouse.
The book will be out on November 15
