USA Basketball Team stay on a silver cloud ship
While other athletes will be spending their Olympic days moment at Olympic athletes village in Rio, Brazil. It's a different story for the USA Basketball Team.
The US Team both men and women will be staying on a luxurious Silver Cloud cruise ship at Maua port (which from reports can accommodate up to 400 people in its 196 cabins) during the 2016 Olympic Games.
"USA Basketball teams haven't stayed in the Olympic Village since the 1988 teams did," says the federation's chief media officer, Craig Miller. He adds, "Our teams are extremely active in supporting their U.S. teammates."
The US men will face China in their first game on Saturday while the US women will face Senegal on Sunday.
