Full list of 100 most influential young africans

Linda Ikeji,35 (blogger), Wizkid, 26 (music star) , Jim Iyke, 39 (veteran actor) were among those that made the list for the 2016 '100 most influential young african'.

The list was put together in consultation with a jury made up of young Africans based across the globe. It has representation from 27 African countries with a gender distribution of 62 men and 38 women. The youngest person on the list is 14 while the maximum age limit is set at 40.

Selecting 10 of the most influential across 10 distinct categories, the number 100 represents the force of young people who are creating change and making sure it translates into making the lives of other people better.

On social media 87% of these young Africans are on Facebook with a combined following of 18,317,458 while 86% have 16,203,116 followers on twitter as at July 15, 2016 when the data was compiled.
